Lauren and Markie

Lauren Ash Morgan, born in 1981, and a board member of the SSC's Board of Directors since the year 2011 she was one of the original co-artistic directors of Speech of Fire. As the artistic director of SSC she served as SSC's composer, musician and text director as well as the costume, set and music design. Though she typically led inside her ensemble of actors but in the final year with SSC King Lear, she became a director and lighting designer.
